Found Some More Poems

This one is actually brand new, created in Poetic Ramblings on January 9, 2009

Sixth Sense

A child with wings defiling things
Caught from the side of my eye
Tyring to cry the sight is clouded
And misrouted as colors burst from the sky
Where bats circle and trap purple
And claim the color for keeps
Like a net on a face for preventing the case
Of asphyxiation and bruises for weeks

Children with capes are burning the gates
Not malicious, for beauty of flames
And shooting's for games but not in real life
And the steel knife is meant for the same
Pay attention is swaying prevention
Let them learn from mistakes of their own
To smother the young is just cutting the fun
From the killer that lives in your home

These two I just found in my locker..

The People who were Here Before

Laughter laughter from the after
Decades gone, the picture captures
Sights of buttons long and weary
Covering what seems endearing
To us as we are as clothing falls
The people before were in holding stalls

Weeping weeping, prisoners keeping
Click the mouse for new age peeping
Children, victims, memories hazy
Excuses excuses, his family's crazy
A ten year old girl is turned into a whore
Don't' you wish you were here before?

Second Attempt
(I was going to add to this, and I still may but I guess I'll put this version up too)

Strings are calluses
The chalice is for drinking water
Smell the liquid, feel the fumes
Heal the wounds oh Dave the brave
Save from fate, erase the plate
A task too great is a dash too late
The flask of hate creates the place
Reaches out to embrace your face
Dave the slave can you escape
The blissful sight of fluid rape
Splash, splash, splash, hit the dash
The car flips over with you attached
Crash, crash, crash, Carpe Diem
Grab hold of chest, your heart is gem
While your liver begs for mercy and truce
Your "pimp cup" is full of gin and juice

The next two are from last year and they were in Poetic Ramblings Volume 5
But if you didn't get a copy, well at least you can see these

(I forget the title of this one that was put in the poetic ramblings book, so I'll leave it blank)

I have a secret, try to keep it
Goodness gracious do not leak it
You see me in person and the diversion
I've made in order so people won't loiter
And stare at the frightening display of the lightening
From northern heights that border sights
That I create from boredom nights
I'm such a low fill for Buffalo Bill
But the basket's in the lotion and the quotient is the answer
When I was young I was prescribed emotional enhancers
But those hit their limit so I remain timid
As a joker and a smoker, living life as I was in it
But now I'm jazzy, dance around
And there is not a chance for now
For the makeup will remain forever on my face
And I'm never in a place that's better than alone
My mom just called but I forget her on the phone
For I am too preoccupied

Rules (This one may be my favorite)

Life is a tornado
Say no to the play dough
It's bad for the child
Be wild and mold yourself
"Geek out" then speak out
To listeners unconscious
Responses will thrill you
Then kill all of your progress
If God said to hear smoke
Then wouldn't you listen?
Just fear coke and steer slow
And stay out of prison
If Janis Joplin had stopped and
Used these devices
We wouldn't be saddened
By how short her life was
If bottles could shout
And if models could count
Then we wouldn't be feeling
This obvious doubt
We see it and touch it
We're way over budget
In Btown they jump it
In Harlem they clutch it
Don't rush it, just hush it
Will all be resolved when
Our problems dissolve in
A piping hot cauldron
We'll stir it then blur it
All over smeared faces
Then hide it, reside in
All sorts of feared places
And run at weird paces
Away from the crowds
Only 'cause the chase is
A day in the clouds
A memory, a vision
Which one can we trust?
Befriending decision
A lump in the dust
The company just raised
All of their prices
The thing that is nice is
We need their devices
So dollars will wither
As scholars consider
Their theses on species
Of dollars and slither
Into our minds as they
Examine the crave
Ignoring the boring
Famine to save
Countries in need
There's nothing to feed
The news is depressing
Here's something to read
